The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority appointed UCS to conduct an independent security audit for M+ Museum ahead of its public opening on 12 November 2021. As Asia’s first global museum of contemporary visual culture and one of the world’s largest institutions for modern and contemporary art, M+ required a robust security framework tailored to its high-profile status.

UCS provided comprehensive management recommendations, covering critical areas such as Visitor & Crowd Control, Terrorism Threat Mitigation, Public Protest Preparedness, Vehicular Access Security, etc. The audit also introduced a streamlined security zoning system, consolidating the museum’s spaces into several distinct areas and zone types for efficient operational management.

Henderson Land commissioned UCS to conduct an independent security consultancy for their new landmark commercial tower, The Henderson, at Central. The comprehensive assessment identified potential security risks across all major operational areas, with tailored mitigation strategies outlined in the Risk Assessment Report.

Key recommendations included multi-layered access control systems, spanning from the ground-level perimeter to the exclusive rooftop Banquet Hall. The report also detailed strategic camera placement and optimised security guard deployment across all levels, supported by data-driven methodologies to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Kerry Properties enlisted UCS to deliver comprehensive security consultancy services for their prestigious residential development, Mont Verra. A thorough security risk assessment identified key threats to the project, including but not limited to crime, cyber risks, unauthorised surveillance, and perimeter breaches.

UCS provided strategic, policy, and operational-level security recommendations to address these risks. Including detailed planning for physical security measures across the development’s perimeter and individual residential units. By integrating surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and pressure-sensing technology, UCS ensured a robust security framework, safeguarding the property and its residents.
